river landing wedding: the rehearsal dinner!
I thought it was only fitting to kick off this week’s blog posts of Amanda & Chase’s wedding weekend with their rehearsal dinner photos. Each of the weekend’s events were held at the beautiful River Landing Club in Wallace, North Carolina, including Friday night’s rehearsal dinner. Amanda & Chase’s close family and friends gathered together for a cozy dinner next to the club’s giant, roaring fireplace. The couple allowed time for guests to give toasts and tell a few of their favorite stories about the soon-to-be married couple. Both laughter and tears were shared over the course of the evening, leaving everyone giddy with excitement for the next day’s events.
Chase’s parents had two groom’s cakes made for the event. One honored Chase’s family, the Roses, while the other cake highlighted his career as a Marine navigation pilot.
Chase’s family is Scottish- I loved photographing the tartan details throughout the weekend!
After dinner was eaten, toasts were made and cake was eaten, the guests headed upstairs to the club’s suites for a night of poker!
