a package full of surprises!

I’m about to head out the door to photograph Reed & Alicia’s wedding, but I just had to share a few of these photographs from a surprise gift that came in yesterday’s mail.  I’m always excited when it seems that I have successfully bridged the gap between client/photographer & friends.  Emily & Jay were kind enough to send me, Michael & Orvis the cutest gifts yesterday, and it reminds me how nice it is to have friends no matter how far away they are.

Always one to pay attention to the details, Emily was able to tie in some key elements from their wedding in the packaging.  The package was not only a great reminder of how perfect the details were at their wedding, but also how fitting the details were for their personalities.

A hat from Emily & Jay’s venue, The Colony- perfect for around town or the next time I beat Michael in tennis!  And to keep with the Florida-themed gift, a yummy Chocogator- I’ll probably have to fight Michael for it!

Not only did Emily & Jay include a lovely note, the cute hat & the tasty gator of chocolate, but there was a surprise for Orvis inside . . .  a stylish new collar!

Too bad Orvis cannot have the Chocogator!

Although I haven’t yet been able to share their wedding photos on the blog yet, here’s one of my very favorites- the newly announced Mr. & Mrs. Clifford!
