mt. hood wedding: alex & danny!

Alex & Danny were married last month at the base of Mt. Hood in Oregon.  Their wedding ceremony stands out as one of the most beautiful, truly meaningful ceremonies I’ve covered in the last few years as a wedding photographer.  The signing of the Ketubah, a separate ceremony itself, was certainly one of the more special events of which I’ve been a part; beautiful in every way.

Weeks later, I still hear the words of Rabbi Brad: “Alex is greens, purples, ruffles, and puffy clouds, and Danny is slate, grays, and right angles.”  His description of Alex & Danny, and the ways in which the complement each other, couldn’t have been more spot on.  And it couldn’t have been more perfect, given the scene:  Alex in her beautiful, ruffled dress, holding Danny’s hands, as they stood before a scene filled with greens, purples, puffy clouds, grays, slate, and mountainous angles.  Incredible.
