the making of a blogsite
Meredith’s Recipe for Creating a New Blogsite:
-Brainstorming & doodling: I can practically draw an ampersand with my eyes closed and my hand tied around my back. Seriously.
-Good music: Joe Purdy, Amos Lee, Van Morrison, David Gray, Coldplay, Ray LaMontagne, Alexi Murdoch, Iron & Wine, you get the gist…
-Inspiration: magazine tears, fonts, designs, blogs, etc.
-Post-It Notes: what can you really accomplish without these a desktop, monitor and notebook covered in these wonderfully sticky squares?
-Thanks: In the creation of the & unlimited blogsite, gratitude was my most important ingredient. As I possess no graphic design or web development talent, I relied entirely on the skills of my rockstar-programming-boyfriend, Michael. While I provided him with a sense of direction, it was Michael who took my thoughts & ideas and ran with it. Literally.
A lot of small business owner’s have significant others who play a major role in the support and encouragement of their day-to-day efforts. Michael, is not only my number fan, (think big foam finger & a painted chest with an ampersand on it!) but he also makes it possible for me to showcase my photographs on the internet. No amount of thank you notes or special dinners can communicate how thankful I am for his support, both technical and emotional.

Thanks for checking out the new site! It’s still a work in progress, as we both have been very busy, but please stay tuned for even more awesome updates!
