macarons.

Michael & I recently booked our tickets to France this summer, and we couldn’t be more excited about the trips we’ve planned before and after shooting Dan & Virginie’s wedding – it will be our first time visiting both Paris & Provence! We’ve been in full-on France mode lately – watching Funny Face, reading novels set in Paris (me, not Michael), enjoying local French cuisine, bookmarking everything Paris-related that comes across my Google Reader, and, of course, eating macarons!

I took the following photos on film earlier this winter after a picking up some macarons at Mornings in Paris in the Old Port. Not only are macarons delicious, but they’re so much fun to photograph! I cannot wait to try French macarons – I’ve already mapped out  Ladurée & Pierre Hermé locations in Paris. Perhaps we’ll just have to do some sort of official macaron comparison for Map & Menu?
