lumina clothing company
While I was in North Carolina, I was excited to have the opportunity to arrange a quick photo shoot with the boys of Lumina Clothing Company, an up & coming tie company based in Raleigh. The founders of Lumina Clothing Company, Barton Strawn, Jordan Pung, and Justin Carey, are all friends & roommates at NC State University. It’s hard to believe that for the past couple of years, these three boys have been able to launch & promote a successful business, while keeping up with their school work. Of course, I was excited to photograph their super cute ties, but I was most looking forward to getting to know other young, driven small business owners… especially ones that went to school just twenty minutes away from me!
A special thanks to Cameron Village’s Wardrobbe for providing us with the clothes for the day’s shoot. And an even bigger thanks to Barton & Amanda, Kendall, Abby, Alex, Matt, Everett, and John!

We needed a break from the heat (it was 90 degrees & quite humid!), so we ducked inside one of downtown Raleigh’s favorite bars, Raleigh Times.

These guys seem awesome! I love the ties! You are so good at making pictures both fun and professional. Nothing is ever rigid or posed looking and such energy is reflected in your work!
CUTE! the way you captured” the look ” will go a long way in helping these young guys to market these great ties. I know we will see these ties in Pinehurst NC soon! Will be watching for some great ads and great photos!
