linville wedding: mackenzie and philip

After MacKenzie, Philip, and I wrapped up their super sweet First Look photos, it was time to leave Blowing Rock and take the lovely Blue Ridge Parkway to Linville, where they would be married in the Wee Kirk Presbyterian Church.  One of the wedding’s most special guests, Charlie the labradoodle, had already arrived!  (It is important to note that Charlie was being escorted down the aisle by the one & only boyfriend extraordinaire- Michael D. Cain!)

MacKenzie needed help with her bird cage veil, and since I didn’t quite trust myself, we decided to wait until we got to the church where we knew our mother would be able to work her magic.

Philip’s nephew, Henry, and his niece, Virginia, made quite the ring bearer & flower girl for the day’s celebration!

The Wee Kirk!

Immediately after the ceremony, the newlyweds walked to the back of the church to ring the church bell!

And then it was time for cookies & Izze Pops on the lawn of the church!

What a sweet family!

After the cookies were eaten & the last few drops of the Izze Pops were sipped, the guests headed back to Blowing Rock along the picturesque  Blue Ridge Parkway for a wonderfully scrumptious meal at The Gamekeeper.  Those photos will be featured soon!
