cape elizabeth portraits: hannah & maya!

I was quoted in today’s Portland Press Herald as saying I felt spoiled to live and work in the neighborhood where I do.  And it’s one hundred percent true!  Not only do I live (and work!) in one of the best “walking” neighborhoods in the greater Portland area, but we’re a block away from the beach, and just down the street from the delicious bakery and ice cream shop you’ve heard me ramble on about for months now!  The feeling is reinforced with each and every walk or run, time spent on the beach, morning bagel and cup of salt caramel ice cream.

Living just a mile and a half from Fort Williams, and the infamous Portland Head Light, is one of our favorite parts about living where we do.  Being able to run to the beautiful property to play on the beach with Orvis or walk to the park to cheer on the world class runners at the Beach to Beach 10K leaves me feeling quite spoiled… especially when those activities are followed by a Scratch bagel!

I got the same tremendously thankful feeling when I popped over to Fort Williams to meet these two cuties the other morning.  Not only do I get to photograph at a fabulous location down the street from the & unlimited studio quite frequently, but I get to work with fun, adorable children like Hannah & Maya!
