featured: seacoast weddings magazine!

Last week my copy of Seacoast Weddings arrived and I was so pleased to see a few of my photos throughout the issue! My own portrait (a big thanks to my friend, Alex!) was also used! Seacoast Weddings is a fantastic resource for any New England couple planning a wedding, and I couldn’t be any happier to be included in such a fantastic publication!

Yesterday I spotted the new issue of Real Maine Weddings at the grocery store, and I just had to purchase a few copies. Melanie, the editor of the magazine, e-mailed me earlier this fall to let me know that they selected a few of my images to include in the 2012 issue! Jaimee’s winter bouquet by Heather Caron is featured in the floral guide (as well as the table of contents!), the image of Rachel & her darling bridesmaids was an Editor’s Pick, and one of Katherine’s bridesmaids’ bouquets by Seasons Downeast Designs is also a part of the floral guide.

I highly recommend picking up a copy if you’re planning a wedding in Maine- the magazine is filled with all kinds of resources, information, and tips! And a giant thank you to the staff at Real Maine Weddings for including a few of my images!

David & Hilary’s Boothbay Harbor wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday! SMP is Hilary’s favorite wedding blog- it’s how she discovered me in the first place! Over the last year when I had a few other mentions on Style Me Pretty, Hilary would send me the sweetest e-mails about them. In a sense, things kind of came full circle for us when their beautiful wedding was featured yesterday. How perfect! Click HERE for the feature!

Abby & Igor’s Hampshire House wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty Massachusetts yesterday! Abby’s description of their wedding is just perfect. She & Igor have to be two of the most fascinating people I know! They enjoyed a ten month around-the-world honeymoon following their Boston wedding. I so enjoyed keeping up with their adventures via Facebook & their blog. I’m so happy that we can all relive their wedding day, thanks to SMP!

I’m excited to share that Michael & I have launched the website for my mother’s farm & floral design business, Marianmade Farm. I couldn’t be any happier with the new site and the official announcement of her business. I’ve shared images of the farm and her work (and the farm dogs!) before, but feel free to go check out her portfolio of recent designs. While you’re at it, you might want to keep up with all of the happenings at Marianmade Farm on Facebook!

And, yes. This does mean that my mother, my sister, and I are all now in the wedding industry. How fun is that?

I’m so excited to share that Graham & Samantha’s wedding was featured on the Southern Weddings blog today! Somewhere during the planning process, Sam mentioned how fun it would be to have their wedding featured on the Southern Weddings blog, so seeing it up there today is quite thrilling! What’s even more fun, is that the Terhunes are spending tomorrow night with us, on their way back down to North Carolina from vacationing up the coast in Maine. It will be so fun to hug them both and toast to this blog feature!
