boulder engagement: buddy & emily!

Meet Buddy & Emily.  College sweethearts.  Adventurous travel partners.  Lovers of the outdoors.

Buddy & Emily have lived in and traveled around some of the world’s most exciting destinations since graduating from Willamette University a few years ago.  They’ve ventured together through various parts of Central & South America.  They’ve walked the streets of Seattle hand in hand.  Last fall, eager to see more of our beautiful country, the two embarked on an adventurous National Park tour.  Since getting engaged on Emily’s birthday earlier this summer, they have settled in an apartment in downtown Denver, where Buddy teaches 7th grade math and Emily takes classes, while heading up a research project through the University of Colorado.  It was only fitting that we got together for their engagement photos in a natural setting just north of Denver, in Boulder.

While they love the greater Denver area, I see a great deal of traveling ahead for these two.  Watch out, world!

Boulder proved to be a little hot while we were out and about, so Buddy & Emily changed into some more comfortable clothes and were up for some more playful shots!

Thank you, Buddy & Emily, for showing me a fantastic afternoon in Boulder!  Michael and I are anxiously waiting to show you some of our spots in Maine that we know you will just adore!  Happy researching, studying, teaching and coaching!  I’m so excited for your October wedding!
