bald head island engagement pictures: mackenzie & philip

Okay, so hopefully you aren’t sick of my sister and her fiancé’s engagement yet (it’s so easy to be excited for them!).  This is the last installment of their engagement weekend pictures that we took on Bald Head Island.  After we wrapped up the quick “She Said Yes!” photo shoot, I took some more laid-back, natural shots of MacKenzie & Philip enjoying their time together on Bald Head.

Bald Head is located off the southern coast of North Carolina and accessible only by ferry.  There are no cars on the island – only golf carts & bikes.  Since bicycling is such a characteristic part of the island, we wanted to get a few shots of them riding around.  It was a photographer’s paradise!

While the two came extremely close to planning a Bald Head wedding (we managed to line up nearly everything while they were there!), they finally decided that an intimate wedding in the mountains of North Carolina would better fit their personalities, as they’ve enjoyed several trips to the western part of the state since they first started dating.  In July Michael & I will travel down to North Carolina for their lovely summer wedding in the mountains.

And, yes.  I will most definitely be their wedding photographer.  YAY!
