apple picking!
Each and every fall since we’ve moved to Maine, Michael & I have taken guests to pick apples with us at Thompson’s Apple Orchard in New Gloucester, Maine. It’s become quite a lovely tradition, and our guests always have a great time!
Here are a few snapshots of our excursion to the orchard this past weekend with our friends, Lauren, Ryan, and Julia. We came home with a 1/2 bushel of apples (nearly 20lbs!) and immediately got to work on making an apple pie for Ryan, the world’s biggest apple pie connoisseur! We’re already looking forward to making the next pie and other scrumptious apple treats.
Tell me, what are your favorite things to make with your newly picked apples?!
Happy Tuesday!

Have you ever been to Hodgman’s Frozen Custard in New Gloucester? It’s amazing! We used to go there a lot when I was a kid. They have some of the most creative flavors there. Two of my favorites were Gingerbread and Pumpkin. Yum!
